This collection of contours was done to develop line control
and a smooth drawing hand. We were to draw with a black .5 pilot,
and then transfer the same technique over to Adobe Illustrator.
The jump from paper to screen had remarkably little effect on
the pieces, although when you do things digitally, the concept
of "line control" has entirely different connotations.
These drawings were also starting points for a logo
project.
